What is the first step?

  1. Fill in my contact form on this website.

  2. I will respond by email to answer and questions & requesting that you complete a client intake form & my working agreement.

  3. We will find a mutually good time for an initial session or consultation.

  4. You confirm your booking with payment.

  5. We meet for an initial session or consultation. At the end of the initial session or consultation you can decide whether to continue working together.

What is the frequency of sessions?

Weekly sessions are the standard when commencing therapy but can in consultation with me be scheduled fortnightly when coming towards the end of the work. We will find a mutually convenient time for your sessions which will most likely be at the same time & day each week. At times I have allowances for shift workers who may need flexibility when attending sessions.

How many sessions do I need?

My work with clients is open ended. There is no set amount of sessions that you need to commit to. The number of sessions is up to each individual to decide what they feel that they need. Please do note however my style of working is relational and therefore tends to be more long term rather than short term focused work.

What are your office hours?

My office hours are Monday, Tuesday & Thursday between 10:00am - 20:00pm. Sessions are available within these times only. Please note that evening sessions are the most requested and therefore there may be a short wait for slots after 17:00pm, however please enquire. I respond to emails in between sessions and Monday - Friday.

How do I know if I need therapy?

Therapy can be helpful at any stage in life and you do not need to be in crisis to benefit greatly from a space for self reflection where you can also learn new skills.

What if I’m embarrassed about the reason why I want therapy?

You’re not alone. I have years of experience and the likelihood is that I have probably heard it before. I understand how challenging it can be to share intimate fears, worries or desires with someone else and we will take it at your pace. Therapy can be a wonderful space to normalise and un-shame some of the things you may be reluctant to share.

Is there any nudity involved in psychosexual therapy?

Absolutely not. As a registered psychotherapist, I work to a strong code of ethics. This means that psychosexual therapy is the same as traditional talking therapy, however the focus is on sex, intimacy and relationships.

Do you work with just individuals or do you work with couples too?

I currently only work with individuals. I will be working with couples and intimate partners too from the end of September 2025. Please enquire to be added to my waiting list.

What is your cancellation policy?

All booked sessions require a minimum of 48hrs notice to reschedule a session. If less than 48hrs notice is given the session will be charged. My full policy will be sent to you ahead of starting our work together.

How do I pay for sessions?

All booked sessions are required to be paid in advance and within 24hrs of the booking being made. All payments are to be made by bank transfer.

Do you accept insurance?

At this point in time I am unable to accept insurance. All sessions require self funding.

Do you see clients worldwide?

I offer therapy and other services in English and Spanish, primarily to UK and EU residents. If you are a resident in another country there is a possibility of working together, depending on the rules and regulations in that particular country. Please get in touch with your enquiry if you live outside the UK/EU.
